'The Little Hearts' My 2nd Novel

I was 18 years old when this story started. Teenage! What an age it is! Sweet crushes, innocent/funny mischief, killing looks, memorable walks, heart breaks, inner conflicts, meaningless fights, struggle after first porn film and infinite lessons to lead us for the rest of our life; after-all I too had a tender teenage heart. Like everyone else, some obvious questions troubled my mind which would in general be taken for granted by us later on in life due to its prevalence in the society. Whenever I saw two religious places of worship in close proximity, some valid questions crossed my mind which I felt were very serious. There were many such questions about religion, caste, government, girls and life.
In the process of learning, I came across some great characters who added value to my life. This aside, there was a lot in the funny side of my life with my 'gang' and also drastic changes happened in the society I was living in.
THEN, I met Priyadarshini; my crush at first sight who later on became my heart beat through whom I learnt more of life’s lessons. She grew in my heart like the waxing moon day by day, lightening and enlightening me and suddenly disappeared from my life like the moon on a no moon day. The moon came back again but she never came back. She disappeared leaving all her light with me.
Hope this story of mine enthralls you.

Regards,
Surya (The Protagonist of the novel).

The crux of the novel is the awakening of a young innocent boy’s mind, intellect and body. His budding senses and intellect which go through a turbulent phase as he matures is brought out. Although this novel is intended mainly for college students, I hope it will not be shunned by older men and women on that account, for part of my plan has been to try to pleasantly remind adults of what they once were themselves. This apart, some serious valid questions which troubled everyone at some point in their life are highlighted.

Regards,
Ravi Kumar R
